ABOUT
Since I was a young boy living in Birmingham, I have always had an interest in drawing and for the most part became self-taught. Over the last few years, after moving to Oxfordshire, I have been drawn back into art and been encouraged to do more. I began producing pictures of pets and houses for friends and family and then became interested in animals and lately producing Iconic elements of the world we live in, such as branded foods, rock stars, Great British food, on the other side I have produced some works depicting the 1st World War……who knows what I will do next!

My work is displayed in local galleries and participated in Artweeks and over the last two years produced Christmas cards of local villages.

I have a keen interest in the use of pastels, graphite and latterly the use of Inks in a loose way giving intense colour and a lively character (and fun!) to my artwork.

When I paint I always put some rock music on first, normally something guitar based or a touch of Pink Floyd if I don't feel like anything too heavy!
I am always grateful and inspired when someone takes an interest in my work, producing art is an art and needs to invoke a feeling…..

To quote someone much more famous than I will ever be: ”Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up."

I undertake commissions for pets, wildlife, building portraits and even fun food artwork.
